This comes after achieving a double win in major strategic projects with a total value exceeding EGP 4 billion, reflecting its strong competitiveness and ability to execute integrated projects according to the highest quality standards.
An alliance between Orchid Power Contracting and Heng Tong successfully secured the best financial offer for the project of supplying and installing connection cables linking the Abu Qir Metro station to the national grid. The project included the execution of two main routes:
Lot 1: Abis / Abu Qir Metro route (over 57,000 meters of cables)

In another parallel achievement, Orchid Power Contracting also won a project for the supply and installation of 220 kV underground copper cables to connect TSS9 & TSS10 stations to the East Matrouh 500 kV double-circuit transformer station, with a length exceeding 1,200 meters, on a turnkey basis.
This dual success, with a total value of approximately EGP 4 billion, highlights the company’s capability to efficiently manage and execute large-scale projects simultaneously, while adhering to the highest quality standards across all phases—from technical studies and design, through procurement, to commissioning.
This achievement also strengthens the confidence of project owners in the company and reinforces its position among the leading firms in executing strategic infrastructure projects within Egypt’s electricity sector, in alignment with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy’s direction toward developing the national grid and supporting sustainable development plans.
